Welcome

By using Aktib you agree to these terms. They cover what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use Aktib. Anyone under 18 should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep your account details current.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Don't share your sign-in with others.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

Community standards

Aktib is a community for play. We hold the floor on a few things and your account is at risk if you cross them.

• No harassment, threats, or targeted hate against any person or group.
• No slurs or discriminatory language. We block obvious cases at the composer and review reports.
• No sexual content, sexual solicitation, or sexual messaging — Aktib is for play, not pickup.
• No spam, scams, or impersonation.
• No illegal content or activity.
• Respect venues and other players. If you book a court, show up or transfer the slot via Pasalo.

Bookings, payments, and Pasalo

Aktib facilitates bookings between you and partner venues. We are not a party to the booking — the agreement is between you and the venue. Payment terms (cash, GCash, InstaPay, manual proof) are set by the venue.

Pasalo lets a player transfer a booked slot to another player. Settlement happens in the private thread between the two players. Aktib does not hold funds in escrow for Pasalo.

If you have a dispute with a venue or another player, message them first; if it can't be resolved, report the issue through the in-app report flow and Aktib will review.

Content you post

You retain ownership of the photos, posts, and messages you create. By posting on Aktib, you grant Aktib a non-exclusive license to host, display, and share that content within the app and as part of the Aktib service. You can delete your content at any time, and deletion will remove our license.

You're responsible for the content you publish. Don't post content you don't have the right to share, including copyrighted material you don't own.

Skill verification

Verified skill badges are issued after Aktib reviews proof you submit (tournament results, league pages, photos, or attestations from venue owners). We may revoke a badge if proof is later found to be misleading.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or our community standards. You may close your account at any time using the in-app delete flow.

Disclaimers and limits

Aktib is provided as-is. While we work hard to keep the service running, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the conduct of other users or partner venues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aktib and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Aktib evolves. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent change. Your continued use of Aktib after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.
